Honey-Mustard Salad Dressing Made from Scratch!
If you're looking for a new dressing idea, honey mustard is one of my favorites. It's a little sweet and has a pinch of spice, but when made fresh it is a great healthy alternative to some of the store bought salad dressings.
There are many health benefits that come from each of the ingredients. Honey has bioactive plant compounds and is rich in antioxidants, which can substitute as a healthy sugar substitute for people with diabetes!
Mustard, on the other hand, is a plant based seed which is great for lowering blood sugar and provides protection in some infections and diseases. Mustard is rich in fiber, magnesium and and manganese. So when looking at the health benefits both ingredients provide, it's a no brainer when adding the two to make a healthy salad dressing that you and your whole family can enjoy.
